SWEAT for PETS start line


October 22nd, 7:30am – 12pm

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA)’s third annual SWEAT FOR PETS: Walk, Run & Roll will take place on October 22nd at the U of A Campus Mall. SWEAT FOR PETS is a non-competitive 3k walk/run, and will also feature a kids fun zone, vendor and sponsor booths, a massage area, a costume contest for dogs, and much more! Bring your whole family and we will see you there. Dogs walk free! Don’t forget to register and start or join a team, and start fundraising today. Anyone who raises $100 will walk away with a custom event shirt.

Doggie Dash ‘N Dawdle

October 28th, 9am – 12pm

Oro Valley’s fourth annual Doggie Dash ‘N Dawdle will take place on October 28th at the Canada Del Oro Riverfront Park. The event will feature a one- and two-mile Doggie Dash walk/run and a dog festival, where there will be dog crafts, a costume contest, and free dog stuff! Don’t forget to register. Event t-shirts will be available to purchase online and on race day.

Trick-O-Treat at PAWSH La Encantada

October 28th, 5pm – 8pm

Come celebrate Halloween with PAWSH at La Encantada. Bring your dog in costume for a free doggie bag, picture, and coupon!

Halloween in Tucson

Fourth Avenue Spooky Kids Halloween & Wag-O-Ween

October 29th, 5pm – 8pm

Fourth Avenue’s annual Halloween event will take place October 29th at participating merchants on 4th Avenue between University Blvd and 9th Street. This year, they’ve added Wag-O-Ween, which is specifically for our four-legged family members. Participating merchants will be giving out dog treats. There will be a human costume contest and a dog costume contest, trick or treating, prizes and giveaways, and plenty of fun!

Dogtoberfest Halloween in Tucson


November 5th, 10am – 2pm

Dogtoberfest 2017 will take place on November 5th at the Gregory School. This event benefits Handi-Dogs. Dogtoberfest is a carnival for dogs and their people, and will feature several fun contests, including a costume contest and a peanut butter licking contest; raffles; food; dog activities, such as paw painting and an obstacle course; and more! Tickets can be purchased at the event or at Handi-Dogs.
